Governance and Organization
The highest body of the association is the General Assembly, where member representatives take part. The Board of Directors, responsible for execution, consists of a president and members elected by the General Assembly. Alongside the Board, the Audit Board (oversight of activities) and the Advisory Board (expert guidance) operate.
Day-to-day operations are run by the Secretary General. The General Secretariat includes the Programmes and Research Unit, the Membership and Communications Unit, and the Finance and Administration Unit. Field work, policy work and training activities are coordinated through working groups.
