It is involved in competence building of existing leaders and of future generation. It is building existing leaders to better understand their responsibilities and provides skills in programme implementation. It is involved in livelihood programmes apart from Water Shed Management ,River Basin Management, Health and Sanitary Programmes, Rural Education, Women Empowerment etc. Mrs. Chandaben Shroff who heads Shrujan Trust was awarded by ‘Rolex Award of Excellence’ for promoting sustainable livelihood for women in Kutchh.
